The title is a bit "eh", but I waste more time sitting around trying to think of suitable titles for these things, that I should probably accept maybe they don't want to be pinned down to one spot/definition that way.
Speaking of which, this painting in particular has shifted around a lot and been generally unconventional from the very beginning, where it started out as simply a hand. However, as is often the case, when it comes to writing about these things and the meanings behind them, I clam up. So, I'll just quote what a friend said about it and leave it at that... "So dark an image. But. Light.". 18x14 inches, oil paints on canvas board. |
